ST. LOUIS, Mo. - The American Midwest Conference (AMC) has announced the 2024-25 AMC Women’s Basketball season awards, All-Conference Teams, Champions of Character Team and Academic All-Conference Team.
- Four of the six First Team All-Conference players were First Team members last year and seven of the 16 All-Conference players this season were All-Conference a year ago.
- Mallory Shetley becomes the second five-time All-Conference selection, first five-time First Team selection and first three-time All-Defensive Team selection.
- Kaylee (Clark) Isaacs is the 16th three-time First Team All-Conference performer
- Sydney Booker is the 10th four-time All-Conference selection
- Chu Crockett is the second player to win Defensive Player of the Year twice.
- LaiJanique Perry-Ellis is the third straight Newcomer of the Year from Stephens College
- The season awards and All-Conference Teams are selected by a vote of the Conference women’s basketball coaches.
- The Champions of Character Team includes one player from each school, selected by their coach and teammates as the individual who best exemplifies the Five Core Values of the NAIA Champions of Character® Initiative – Respect, Responsibility, Sportsmanship, Integrity and Servant Leadership.
- Ninety student-athletes earned Academic All-Conference honors. To be eligible for Academic All-Conference honors, student-athletes must have at least a 3.0 GPA.
