AMC Indoor T&F Men’s Athletes of the Week – No. 1 (Dec. 8)

ST. LOUIS, Mo. – Brenin Howell of Columbia and Evan McVey of UHSO earned this week's American Midwest Conference Men's Track and Field Athletes of the Week presented by AMCOnTheGo, announced the conference office this afternoon.
AMC Indoor Men's Field Athlete
Brenin Howell, Columbia
Jr. | Westran, Mo.
- Competed at the Mel Tjeerdsma Classic
- Broke the school record in the shot put as he hit the NAIA "A" Standard with a 17.08-meter toss. Finished in second place
- Earned an 11th-place finish in the weight throw with a 15.47-meter throw
Other notable performance:
- Jabbar Granberry, Harris-Stowe: broke the school record in the weight throw at the Titan First Chance. His 15.37-meter throw placed him fifth

- Competed in the Titan First Chance
- Broke the school record in both the 60-meter dash and 200-meter dash in his first collegiate meet
- Placed second in the 200-meter dash with a time of 22.79 and eighth in the 60-meter dash with a time of 7.07
Other notable performance:
- Jaiven Hale, Haskell Indian Nations: hit the NAIA "B" Standard in the 5000-meter run as he took home the gold with a 14:42.32 time
