AMC Duo Named NAIA Women's Soccer All-Americans
St. Louis, Mo. -Two American Midwest Conference (AMC) women's soccer players were named to the NAIA All-America Team, announced on Monday by the National Office.
The AMC duo, both from Columbia College, were named Third Team All-Americans.
AMC Player of the Year, Juana Wulff, a senior defender from Pilar, Buenos Aires, Argentina, anchored the Cougars defense that held opponents to eight goals in 20 games and registered 15 shutouts. She contributed on the offensive end with four goals and one assist.
Macie Lucas, a junior forward from Roxana, Ill, led the AMC with 15 goals and 35 points in 20 games.
The NAIA All-America Teams were selected by a committee comprised of the NAIA-Women's Soccer Coaches' Association Executive Committee, the National Championship Games Committee and four women's soccer coaches. Each team - first, second and third - consists of 11 members.
