AMC Women's Soccer All-Conference & Season Award Winners Announced

ST. LOUIS, Mo. - The American Midwest Conference (AMC) has announced the 2024 AMC Women's Soccer season awards, All-Conference Teams, Champions of Character Team and Academic All-Conference Team.
- 2024 marks the first time a Second Team All-Conference is recognized, previously there was a First Team and Honorable Mentions.
- Delfina Zolesio becomes the eighth consecutive Columbia Cougar to earn AMC Women's Soccer Player of the Year honors.
- Health Science's & Pharmacy's Alexa Hildebrand earned the Eutectics' first AMC Newcomer of the Year award.
- Victoria de Abreu from Williams Baptist is the first-ever Eagle to receive AMC Women's Soccer Freshman of the Year honors.
- John Klein from Columbia has earned his sixth AMC Coach of the Year recognition, placing him second on the all-time list, behind Tim Strange from McKendree, who holds the record with 10 honors.
- Columbia's Delfina Zolesio was named to the All-Conference First Team for the fourth time in her career.
- Eight players earned their second First Team All-Conference selection (Kitanna Richards-CBC, Riley Porter-CC, Annalisa Castro-HSSU, Gabby Mattli-MBU, Skylar Hollingshead-MBU, Hannah Loethen-WWU, Megan Hughes-WWU, Megan Schutze-Schweitzer-WWU).
- University of Health Sciences & Pharmacy won their fourth Fair Play and Sportsmanship Award.
- The season awards and All-Conference Teams are selected by a vote of the Conference women's soccer coaches.
- The Champions of Character Team includes one player from each school, selected by their coach and teammates as the individual who best exemplifies the Five Core Values of the NAIA Champions of Character Initiative - Respect, Responsibility, Sportsmanship, Integrity and Servant Leadership.
- To be eligible for Academic All-Conference honors, student-athletes must be in their second semester at their AMC institution, have at least a 3.0 GPA and finish the year on the team.
