AMC Women's Basketball All-Tournament Team

St. Louis, Mo.– The American Midwest Conference (AMC) announced the 2024 Women’s Basketball All-Tournament Team. The 11-player team is led by Tournament Most Valuable Player Mallory Shetley, a forward from Columbia College.

The All-Tournament Team was selected by the eight tournament-qualifying coaches. The MVP is voted on by a selection committee made up of the AMC staff and two coaches.

Shetley led the Cougars to their third-straight AMC Tournament title leading them in scoring (22.3 points per game) and finishing second on the team in rebounds and assists per game during their run to the championship (5.7 rpg, 2.7 apg).  She shot 55.3 percent (26-of-47) from the floor in victories over Central Baptist, Health Sciences & Pharmacy and Williams Baptist.

Shetley scored 10 points and grabbed five rebounds in Columbia’s quarterfinal win over Central Baptist.  Against Health Sciences & Pharmacy in the semifinals, she poured in 34 points, which is tied for the third-most points scored in AMC Women’s Basketball Tournament history. Her 17 field goals in that game set an AMC Tournament record for field goals made in a game. She scored 23 points, including connecting on all 11 attempts from the free throw line leading the Cougars to a come-from-behind win in the championship game.
