ST. LOUIS, Mo. - Rachel Ruplinger and Leah Zeimet of St. Ambrose University were named College Sports Communicators Academic All-America Women's At-Large, announced the organization this afternoon.
Ruplinger was selected First Team while Zeimet earned Second Team honors.
The Fighting Bees of St. Ambrose captured both competitive cheer and competitive dance AMC Championship trophies.

Ruplinger tabbed back-to-back CSC Academic All-America honors, moving up from Second Team last year to First Team this season. Throughtout the year, she was recognized with numerous accolades, including AMC First Team All-Conference, AMC Champions of Character, AMC Academic All-Conference, NAIA First Team All-America, Daktronics NAIA Scholar-Athlete and CSC Academic All-District honors.
Leah Zeimet, Competitive Dance
Zeimet received multiple awards both within the conference and on the national stage. In the conference honors, she was named AMC First Team All-Conference, AMC Champions of Character team and the AMC Academic All-Conference team. Nationally, she was selected NAIA First Team All-American, Daktronics NAIA Scholar-Athlete, CSC Academic All-District and most recently, CSC Academic All-America Second Team.
