2026 AMC Baseball Tournament Day Two Recap

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – (Tournament Page) Third-seeded Central Baptist advanced to the title game and will face the winner of Columbia vs. Williams Baptist at the 2026 American Midwest Conference (AMC) Baseball Tournament at Ozark Mountain Sports Complex.

Game 4 - Mission def. Health Sciences & Pharmacy – MU, 2-0

  • Four Patriots each had a hit: Drew Vaughan, Clay Palen, Kadean Jacobs and Tomy Myres who hit a triple.
  • Vaughn and Zachary Beatty each scored a run.
  • Tristan Calmes pitched the complete game and he struck out nine, allowing four hits and two runs.
  • Jude Tenny started on the mound for Mission.  In 7.0 innings pitched, he struck out seven while allowing three hits. Garrett Hunter finished the game with two strikeouts.

Game 5 – Central Baptist def. Williams Baptist – CBC, 2-1

  • Cesar Franco stole a base for Central Baptist, while Lawson Aaron stole one for WBU.
  • Mari Thomas scored the only run for the Eagles, while Preston White and Ryan Dauphinee each scored a run to lead CBC to the win.
  • Jaxon Kirkhuff took the win on the mound. He struck out five while allowing eight hits and one run. Jamin Smith pitched the final innings, allowing one hit to record his fourth save of the season.
  • Williams Baptist brought in six different pitchers as Gabe Dirnberger earned the loss on the mound.

Game 6 – Columbia def. Mission – CC, 15-5

  • Hunter Hees led the Cougars with four hits, while Dylan Carlton drove in four runs.
  • Joey Marcinkiewicz hit a homer and scored three runs. Hees and Bradyn O'Neal scored two.
  • Kadean Jacobs went 3-for-3 for Mission, with one run and one RBI. Colin Miser added two hits with one RBI.
  • Kolten Payne earned the win on the mound. In 6.1 innings pitched, he struck out five while allowing nine hits and three runs.
  • Ethan Banks took the loss on the mound for the Patriots. He pitched the first 3.2 innings and struck out two while allowing five hits and four runs.
