St. Ambrose Claims Back-To-Back AMC Competitive Dance Championship

COLUMBIA, Mo. – St. Ambrose University claimed back-to-back AMC Competitive Dance Championship hosted by Columbia College in the Arena of Southwell Complex.

In the prelims, Columbia, Oklahoma City, St. Ambrose and Viterbo received no deductions. St. Francis (Ill.) had 0.25-deduction points, while Saint Xavier suffered a 5.00-deduction points.

In the finals, Saint Xavier, St. Francis (Ill.), Viterbo and St. Ambrose received no deductions. Columbia and Oklahoma City only had a 0.25-point deduction.

Sara Gundacker and Sydney Offerman of St. Ambrose are now a two-time AMC First Team All-Conference selections. Shea Denahy of SAU and Sara Borik of St. Francis (Ill.) are now a two-time AMC Second Team All-Conference recipient.

Columbia's Amanda Szydlowski received Second Team All-Conference recognition last year and earned First Team All-Conference honors this year.

Viterbo's Breckyn Remis, Carly Skroback, Erin Walters, Hailey Hotvedt and Julia Steinfeldt received Second Team All-Conference last year and were selected to the First Team All-Conference this year.
