AMC Golf Players of the Week - Week 2

St. Louis, Mo. - Columbia College's Ashlyn Sanders and Williams Baptist University's Tyler Parr have been selected as the American Midwest Conference Golfers of the Week. They were selected from nominees submitted by each institution based on their performances from Sept. 25-Oct. 1 and chosen through a vote of Sports Information Directors from around the AMC.
AMC Women's Golfer of the Week
Ashlyn Sanders, Columbia
Jr. | Wentzville, Mo.
- Won the Missouri Valley College Big Muddy Shootout with a 36-hole score of 159 (80-79).
- Beat teammate Elin Stenbeck by three strokes.
- Columbia won the 6-school Tournament (329-327-656) by 35 strokes.
AMC Men's Golfer of the Week
Tyler Parr, Williams Baptist
Jr. | England, Ark.
- Won the Lyon College Invitational with a 36-hole score of 5-under-par 139 (68-71).
- One of just to golfers to finish under par.
- Williams Baptist finished second in the 9-school Tournament (293-293-586).
- Jakub Slapal, Central Baptist: Finished tied for third at the Lyon College Invitational with an even-par 144 (74-70).
- Sean Minor, Columbia: Shot a 3-under-par 141 (67-74) to finish third at the Missouri Valley College Big Muddy Shootout.
