ST. LOUIS, Mo. - Ellie Soderholm and Blake Sykes of Columbia swept this week's American Midwest Conference Golfers of the Week presented by AMCOnTheGo, announced the conference office this afternoon.

Both golfers are now eligible for the NAIA Golfers of the Week which is announced on Wednesday.

AMC Women's Golfer of the Week
Ellie Soderholm, Columbia
So. | Stockholm, Sweden
  • Competed in the WWU Fall Invitational
  • Led the Cougars to a tournament title
  • Placed second after shooting 73 in round one and 74 in round two
  • Back-to-back golfer of the week awards
Other Notable Performance:
  • Addison Sullivan, UHSP: shot 76 in both rounds at the WWU Fall Invitational with a sixth-place individual finish.

AMC Men's Golfer of the Week
Blake Sykes, Columbia
Jr. | Columbia, Mo.
  • Competed in the WWU Fall Invitational
  • Led the Cougars to a fourth-place team finish
  • Finished seven individually, finishing with five under par after two rounds
  • Shot 71 in round one and 68 in round two
Other Notable Performance:
  • Jack Pierce, Williams Baptist: finished fourth in the Scots Fall Invitational after shooting 74 in both rounds.
