Four AMC Men's Soccer Student-Athletes Earn NAIA All-America

Kansas City, Mo. - Four American Midwest Conference (AMC) men's soccer players were named to the 2024 NAIA All-American Team on Monday. Missouri Baptist University's Ognjen Bozovic and Marko Dordevic, William Woods University's Omar Murillo and Williams Baptist University's Jacobo Obradors were all named to the Third Team.

Ognjen Bozovic, Sophomore, Midfielder
Bozovic posted career highs in 2024 with six goals and two assists. The dynamic center midfielder was named to the AMC First Team All-Conference for his exceptional play.
Bozovic was instrumental in the Spartans' conference tournament success. He was named the tournament's Most Valuable Player after scoring a game-winning penalty kick in the semifinals and the championship-clinching goal in the final. His efforts helped the Spartans secure their first conference tournament title since 2018 and an automatic bid to the NAIA National Tournament.
Marko Dordevic, Junior, Forward
Dordevic recorded 15 goals and seven assists in 2024, both career highs. His successful season left him just four goals shy of becoming MBU's all-time leader in career goals. He currently has 36 career goals and needs 40 to set the record.
Dordevic's standout year earned him two American Midwest Conference (AMC) Offensive Player of the Week honors and one NAIA Offensive Player of the Week recognition after scoring six goals across three matches in one week.
The junior forward was also named to the AMC First Team All-Conference and the AMC All-Tournament Team. He tallied one goal and two assists during the conference tournament.
Omar Murillo, Senior, Defender
Playing a team-high 1,764 minutes over 20 games (all starts) for an average of 88.2 minutes per game, Murillo posted 13 shots (nine on goal) and five goals (one game-winning goal and one penalty-kick goal) for a total of 10 points. A senior from Panama City, Panama, Murillo also earned his third straight first-team All-American Midwest Conference honor, AMC Defensive Player of the Week in Week 8 (Oct. 14) and academic All-AMC this season.
Jacobo Obradors, Senior, Forward
Obradors ranked fourth in the nation with 19 goals on the year, six of which were game-winners. The AMC Player of the Year selection also added in four assists to lead WBU to 12 wins and its second appearance in the NAIA Tournament in program history.
The senior departs WBU as the all-time leading scorer with 66 goals in his career, and goals in a single season with 19 in 2024.
