AMC Indoor Track & Field Championships Preview

ELSAH, Ill. - The American Midwest Conference Indoor Track & Field Championships will take place on Saturday, February 19, hosted in Elsah, Illinois, at the Crafton Athletic Center.
It will be the first indoor track & field championships for the conference since Columbia took home their fourth title in school history on the men's side while former member Park University won their first on the women's side in 2020.
William Woods currently leads all men programs with 54 individual/relay winners and is in a two-way tie for first in team championships with Columbia at four.
The Owls also have the advantage in both team (5) and individual champions (59) on the women's side, with Missouri Baptist in a close second with 53 individual champions and two team championships.
The Crafton Athletic Center is a 100,000 square foot facility that includes a six-lane, 200-meter indoor track (with eight lanes for a 55-meter straightaway), a pole vault station, a high jump station, and a sandpit.
