AMC Men's Indoor Track & Field Athletes of the Week - No. 6 (Feb. 13)

St. Louis, Mo. - Donovan Denslow of Missouri Baptist and Gavin Frantz of Columbia (Mo.), have been selected as the American Midwest Conference (AMC) Men's Indoor Track & Field Athletes of the Week, the league announced on Monday. They were selected from nominees submitted by each institution based on their performances from February 6 through February 12 and chosen through a vote of Sports Information Directors from around the AMC.

The next NAIA Men's Indoor Track & Field Athlete of the Week awards will be announced on Wednesday.

Donovan Denslow, Missouri Baptist
Jr. | Eoila, Mo.

• Finished third in the 5000-meter run at the Gorilla Classic
• Ran 14:29.43 in the event.
• Hit the NAIA "A" Standard

Other Notable Performance:

• Easton Ambler, William Woods (Mo.): Finished second in the 60-meter hurdles, sixth in the 400-meter run and was a part of the 4X400-meter relay team that placed seventh.

• Hit the NAIA "A" standard in the weight throw at the SAU Tune Up.
• Tossed 18.38-meters in the event, placing 1^st out of 18 athletes.
• Added a 5^th place finish (14.63m) in the shot put.

Other Notable Performance:

• Daulton Melton, William Woods (Mo.): Finished second in the weight throw with a mark of 14.64-meters and 12.94-meters in the shot put.
