AMC Men's Indoor Track & Field Athletes of the Week - Week 2

St. Louis, Mo. - Missouri Baptist University's Donovan Denslow (Track) and Mayson DeRousse (Field) have been selected as the American Midwest Conference (AMC) Men's Indoor Track Athletes of the Week. They were selected from nominees submitted by each institution based on their performances from Jan. 8-14 and chosen through a vote of Sports Information Directors from around the AMC.
AMC Men's Indoor Track Athlete of the Week
Donovan Denslow, Missouri Baptist

- Placed second overall vs.14 athletes in the 3000-meter (8:38.73) at the RedHawks Invite.
- Currently holds the fastest 3000-meter time in the AMC, and eighth fastest in the NAIA.
- First AMC Athlete of the Week honor.

Mayson DeRousse, Missouri Baptist
Gr. | De Soto, Mo.
- Finished first vs. nine athletes at the RedHawks Invite in pole vault.
- He hit 5.05m, defeating several NCAA Division One athletes.
- Recorded 6.46m in the long jump event and placed fourth vs. 12 athletes.
- Currently ranks No. 2 in the AMC for long jump.
- Second AMC Athlete of the Week honor.
