St. Louis, Mo. – Alicia Kimble of University of Health Sciences & Pharmacy and Emberlin Caldwell of Williams Baptist were named this week's American Midwest Conference (AMC) Softball Players of the Week presented by AMCOnTheGo, announced the conference office this afternoon. 

AMC Softball Hitter of the Week

Alicia Kimble, Health Sciences & Pharmacy

So. | OF/C | Madisonville, Tenn.

  • Led the Eutectics to a sweep over Harris-Stowe and a split with Hannibal-LaGrange and Stephens.
  • Hit .571 (12-for-21) with a .810 slugging percentage and .609 on-base percentage.
  • Hit four doubles, one triple, drove in six runs and scored seven runs.

Other Notable Performance:

Hailey Presley, Mission: led the Patriots to a sweep over Kansas Christian, going 4-for-5 averaging .800. Scored five runs and added three RBI

  • Tossed two complete-game shutouts against Lane and Columbia.
  • Earned two wins in the circle with a 12-0 victory over Lane and a 3-0 win over Columbia.
  • In 12.0 innings pitched, she struck out six while allowing 10 hits.

Other Notable Performance:

Addison Tippie, Cottey: Earned three wins in the circle on the week. In 17.2 innings pitched, she struck out four while allowing 21 hits and six runs. Led the Comets with wins over Northwestern Ohio, Indiana South Bend and New College of Florida.
