AMC Women's Golf All-Conference and Season Awards Announced

Eugene, Mo. - The American Midwest Conference (AMC) has announced the members of the 2021-22 AMC Women's Golf All-Conference Tea, season award winners, Academic All-AMC, and the Champions of Character Team.
Maria Zrodowska of William Woods was named AMC Player of the Year for the third time her career. Zrodowska led the AMC in average score at 75.73 and vs. par at 4.00. Zrodowska completed 22 rounds in 12 tournaments with her low round of 71 coming on Oct. 12, 2021 at the William Woods Fall Invite.
Newcomer of the Year honors went to Alyssa Hagewood of Central Baptist. Hagewood led the Mustangs with an 87.83 scoring average and was 15th overall in the AMC.
Lillian Knipfel (Columbia) was named AMC Freshman of the Year after a season that saw her average an 84.19 and 12.44 vs par over eight tournaments.
Columbia's Head Coach, Michelle Parrish, was named AMC Coach of the Year after leading the Cougars to their first-ever AMC Women's Golf Team Championship.
Academically, 27 players were named to the Academic All-AMC team, led by William Woods who placed seven athletes on the list.
