Columbia Wins Second-Straight AMC Women's Golf Championship

Mountain Home, Ark. - (Results) For the second-straight year, the Columbia Cougars have won the American Midwest Conference (AMC) Women's Golf Title.

The Cougars shot a 327-329--656 (+80) and won the event by 38-strokes over William Woods (354-340--694 +118). Playing in their first-ever women's golf championship, Cottey placed third with a 357-344--701 (+125).

Individually, Emily Strunck and Sydney Willingham, both of Columbia, finished in a tie for first-place (161, +17). Willingham was crowned the individual champion winning on the first playoff hole.
