AMC Women's Soccer Semifinals Preview

ST. LOUIS, Mo. - The American Midwest Conference (AMC) Women's Soccer Tournament Semifinals are set for Monday at two sites.

Game 5: (1) Columbia vs. (4) Harris-Stowe - 6:00 PM

• Columbia earned a 9-0 victory over #8 Central Baptist.
• Harris-Stowe's knocked off #5 Health Sciences and Pharmacy, 5-0.
• The Cougars are appearing in their 13^th consecutive tournament semifinals.
• Hannah Shylanski and Delaynie Brown also found the back of the net twice for the Cougars.
• Brianna Williams scored twice for the Hornets.
• The Cougars defeated Harris-Stowe during regular-season on Oct. 5, 4-1.

Game 6: (2) Missouri Baptist vs. (3) William Woods - 7:00 PM

• Missouri Baptist took down Stephens, 3-1.
• William Woods defeated CBC, 4-0.
• This is Missouri Baptist sixth consecutive semifinals appearance, 21^st overall.
• The Owls return to the semifinals for the seventh time in the last eight years.
• MBU's Natalie Gum scored a pair of goals.
• Hannah Loethen found the back of the net just 47 seconds into the match, then closed out the Owls scoring early in the second half.
• The Spartans won the regular-season matchup, 3-1.

The winners will advance to the Championship match, scheduled for Thursday, November 14, with an automatic bid to the NAIA Tournament up for grabs.
