AMC Women's Soccer Players of the Week - No. 2 (Sept. 1)

St. Louis, Mo. - For the second consecutive week, Yajaira Alvarado (Offensive) and Nevaeh Larkins (Defensive) of Williams Baptist University swept the American Midwest Conference (AMC) Women's Soccer Players of the Week, presented by AMCOnTheGo, for the period of August 25-Sept. 1.

Both players are now eligible for the NAIA Players of the Week, which is announced on Tuesday.

Yajaira Alvarado, Williams Baptist

• Scored four times in the Eagles' first-ever victory over Missouri Baptist (6-1)
• Was her second straight multi-goal game.

Other Notable Performances

• Izzy Rogers, UHSP - scored three times in the Eutectics' first two games of the season, including a brace in the season opener against Waldorf.

• Made 12 saves in two games during the week.
• Stopped nine of ten shots on goal in the Eagles' 6-1 victory over Missouri Baptist.
• Had three saves in a 1-0 shutout over Hendrix, improving Williams Baptist to 3-0, its best start in program history.
