Columbia Wins 12th AMC Women’s Soccer Tournament Title

COLUMBIA, Mo. – The Columbia College Cougars secured their 11th consecutive and 12th overall American Midwest Conference (AMC) Women's Soccer Tournament Title with a 1-0 victory over Harris-Stowe tonight.

Game Five: Columbia def. Harris-Stowe, 1-0 (BOX SCORE)

• The Cougars broke the deadlock in the 67th minute as Georgia Pardalos converted a penalty kick for the game's only goal.
• Natalie Allison (11-4-2) earned the win in goal, recording the shutout.
• Columbia controlled the set pieces, earning seven corner kicks compared to Harris-Stowe's three.
• CC outshot HSSU, 10-3.
• With today's win, the Cougars improve to 12-4-2 on the season.
• Harris-Stowe concludes its season with a 7-7-5 overall record.

With the victory, the Cougars advance to the NAIA Women's Soccer First and Second Rounds, which will be held at campus sites from Nov. 20-22. The selection show is scheduled for Friday, Nov. 14 at 6 p.m. on the NAIA YouTube channel.
