AMC Women's Indoor Track & Field Athletes of the Week - No. 4 (Feb. 15)

ST. LOUIS, Mo. - Nakira Gage of Missouri Baptist and Katie French of William Woods (Mo.) have been named the American Midwest Conference (AMC) Women's Indoor Track & Field Athletes of the Week, the conference office announced Monday. Gage and French were selected based on their performances from Feb. 8-14.

Nakira Gage, Missouri Baptist
Fr. | Chesterfield, Mo.

• Ran in two events at the TRXC Opportunity Meet.
• Finished second in the 60-meter dash in a time of 8.01-seconds.
• Ran 28.10 in the 200-meter dash with a time of 28.10-seconds.

AMC Women's Indoor Field Athlete of the Week
Katie French, William Woods (Mo.)
Jr. | Marshfield, Mo.

• Competed in two events at the TRXC Timing Opportunity Meet.
• Finished second in the shot put with a toss of 12.97-meters.
• Added an eighth-place finish in the weight throw with a throw of 12.43-meters.
• Currently ranks No. 13 in the NAIA in the shot put.
