St. Louis, Mo. - University of Health Sciences and Pharmacy's Taylor Washington has been selected as the American Midwest Conference (AMC) Women's Indoor Track & Field Athlete of the Week. She was selected from nominees submitted by each institution based on their performances from Feb. 5-11 and chosen through a vote of Sports Information Directors from around the AMC.

  • Placed first in a field of 10 athletes in the 60-meter hurdles (9.44) at the Titan Open.
  • Currently has the leading time for 60-meter hurdles in the AMC.
  • Second AMC Track Athlete of the Week Honor.

Other Notable Performances:
  • Tiajhae Nez, Haskell - Recorded a Haskell Indian Nations University school record in 800-meter dash (2:30.66) at the Ichabod Invite.
  • Saylor Richardson, William Woods - Recorded a personal record in 200-meter dash (28.21) at the Roger Haynes Invite.
