AMC Women's Indoor T&F Athletes of the Week - No. 5 (Feb. 3)

ST. LOUIS, Mo. - Leah Macon-Ford of UHSP and Kaylyn Powers of Hannibal-LaGrange were selected this week's American Midwest Conference Women's Track and Field Athletes of the Week, announced the conference office this afternoon.

Both athletes are now eligible for the NAIA Indoor Track and Field Athletes of the Week which is announced on Wednesday.

• Competed in the Principia Relays this weekend
• Finished second in the weight throw with a 15.36-meter throw
• Placed fourth in the shot put with a 11.68-meter toss

Other Notable Performance: Alicia Robinson, Harris-Stowe: placed third in the link jump at the IWU Midwest Classic with a jump of 5.13-meter

Esther (El) Reagan, William Woods: broke the school record in the pole vault with a 3.05-meter mark

• Notched two individual wins and two school records
• Placed first in the 60 meter dash (7.80) and 200 meter (26.62)
• Finished fourth in the 4x200 meter relay with a time of 1:53.25

Other Notable Performance: Kate Soukup, Cottey: earned her first individual win at the Coach Wilson Invitational in the 800 meter run with a time of 2:26.30
