AMC Women's Outdoor Track & Field Athletes of the Week - No. 5 (April 10)

St. Louis, Mo. - Taylor Washington of Health Sciences & Pharmacy (Mo.) and Katie French of William Woods (Mo.) have been selected as the American Midwest Conference (AMC) Women's Outdoor Track & Field Athletes of the Week, the league announced on Monday. They were selected from nominees submitted by each institution based on their performances from April 3 through April 9 and chosen through a vote of Sports Information Directors from around the AMC.

The next NAIA Women's Outdoor Track & Field Athlete of the Week awards will be announced on Wednesday.

• Finished first in the 100-meter hurdles (16.49) and 4X100-meter relay (51.60)
• Added a fifth-place finish in the high jump (1.45-meters).
• Browe the UHSP school record in all three events.

Other Notable Performance:

• Mya Green, Williams Baptist (Ark.): Finished in the top-10 in the 100-meter hurdles (16.30) and 100-meter dash (12.95).

• Placed second in the discus with a distance of 41.32-meters.
• Added a third-place performance in the hammer with a toss of 45.72-meters.

• Brianna Ramsey, Health Sciences & Pharmacy (Mo.): Scored 22 points with a second-place finish (hammer), fifth-place finish (discus) and a fifth-place finish (shot put).
