AMC Women's Outdoor Track & Field Athletes of the Week: Week 3

St. Louis, Mo. - Missouri Baptist University's Mia Reed (Track) and William Woods University's Nia Hawkins (Field) have been selected as the American Midwest Conference (AMC) Women's Outdoor Track and Field Athletes of the Week. They were selected from nominees submitted by each institution based on their performances from March 25-31 and chosen through a vote of Sports Information Directors from around the AMC. • Placed third in a field of 26 athletes in the 3,000-meter (10:41.55) at the Wash I Distance Carnival.
• Placed fourth in a field of 16 athletes in the 400-meter hurdles (1:06.77).
• Her 3000-meter performance earned her an NAIA A Standard.
• Set a personal record in 3000-meter and 400-meter hurdles.
• First AMC Athlete of the Week Honor.

Other Notable Performances:

• Hallee Wengert, William Woods - Recorded a personal record in the 200-meter dash (26.90) at the CMU Invitational.
