AMC Outdoor T&F Women’s Athletes of the Week – No. 2 (Mar. 30)

ST. LOUIS, Mo. – Leah Macon-Ford and Shamari Long of Health Sciences & Pharmacy swept this week's American Midwest Conference (AMC) Women's Track and Field Athletes of the Week presented by AMCOnTheGo, announced the conference office this afternoon.
AMC Outdoor Women's Track Athlete of the Week
Leah Macon-Ford, UHSP
So. | Dixon, Mo.
- Competed at the SLU Speed/Power Festival and Billiken Invite
- Won the 100-meter dash in both meets that featured NCAA Division I athletes with times of 12.04 (SLU Speed/Power Festival) and 11.91 (Billiken Invite)
- Finished second in the 200-meter dash with a time of 25.07
- Member of the 4x100 meter relay that ran a season-best with a time of 50.69.
- Currently leads the AMC in both 100-meter dash and 200-meter dash.
Other notable performance:
- Tijaria Anthony, Harris-Stowe: earned a PR in the 200-meter dash with a time of 27.29 at the WashU Invite
