ROMERO LEADS GROUP OF SEVEN RECOGNIZED BY NAIA
ST. LOUIS – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has announced its 2016 Volleyball All-Americans, and for the second time in three seasons, Park University's Wendy Romero has been named the NAIA Player of the Year. Romero leads a contingent of seven American Midwest Conference (AMC) student-athletes who were honored by the NAIA – four as All-Americans and three as Honorable Mention All-America.
Romero set numerous Park volleyball records, and she was the first player in program history to twice be named the AMC Player of the Year, a feat which she has now matched at the NAIA level. For more information on Romero, click here to be redirected to Park's article.
