ST. LOUIS, Mo. - Kyla McReynolds of Harris-Stowe, Taylor Johnson of Columbia and Jillian Glasgow of Crowley's Ridge were named American Midwest Conference Women's Volleyball Players of the Week, announced the conference office this afternoon.

All three are now eligible for the NAIA Volleyball Players of the Week which is announced on Tuesday.

AMC Volleyball Attacker of the Week
Kyla McReynolds, Harris-Stowe
Jr. | OH | O'Fallon, Ill.
  • Led the Hornets to two conference sweeps in the week
  • Recorded 24 kills, with 4.00 kills per set
  • Added 16 digs and three blocks
  • Second AMC Player of the Week honors of the season
Other Notable Performance:
  • Serafina Auberry, Cottey: averaged 2.41 kills per set in five matches, added 20 digs and five blocks.

  • Added 53 receptions and two service aces

  • Magdalen Dougherty, Cottey: averaged 3.12 digs per set in five matches. Added 34 kills.

  • Recorded 21 assists in the sweep over Williams Baptist, and 30 assists in the five-set match victory over Stephens
  • Added 18 digs and three service aces in two matches
Other Notable Performance:
  • Jenna Brinson, UHSP: totaled 80 assists in four matches with a 6.67 assists per set. Added four service aces and 26 digs.
