MOBILE, Ala. – William Woods Lady Owls punches its ticket to the second round of the 2018 NAIA Women's Tennis National Championship.
The Lady Owls swept its way out of the first round with a 9-0 win over Southwestern Lady Moundbuilders.
William Woods won at No. 1 and 2 doubles by a score of 8-1 and No. 3 doubles 8-4.
The Lady Owls followed up with six-straight wins in singles action. All six were in straight-sets and three of them came by a score of 6-0.
The 10th-seeded Lady Owls will take on No. 7-seeded University of Northwestern Ohio at 9 AM.
